Celebrate Harry Potter’s birthday as we welcome Muggles (the wizard term for non-magic folks) for ex-STREAM Saturday fun. Practice making positions, casting spells, and learning about magical creatures. Deck out in your most wizarding wardrobe for added fun! The program is free with general admission or membership and is recommended for children ages 4 and up.
Circle of MusicMondays, August 1-22, two session times: 0-2 year olds, 9:30 am-10:15 am OR 3-5 year olds, 10:30 am-11:15 am
‘Circle of Music’ will include singing, playing age-appropriate instruments, movement, listening, creative musical play and integrated children’s literature. This class is sponsored by the Central Oak Heights Association and recommended for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. Two session times are available depending on age. The cost is $20 per child. LCM Summer Chill

It’s time for an extra hot and sizzling summer chill as we introduce our August Summer ‘Grill & Chill’. Take advantage of our extended evening hours from 4-6pm to explore the museum, enjoy a juicy hot dog and chips, provided by our friends at Ira Middleswarth & Son, Inc. (while supplies last), and participate in some STEM-themed activities for the whole family. This event is recommended for all ages and is free.

Study French “en famille” in this pilot program with the Lewisburg Children’s Museum and Bucknell University’s Department of Languages, Cultures, & Linguistics. Families will join French speakers as they explore the Museum and learn the basics of French language and culture. Topics include: basic greetings, thematic vocabulary exposure, and simple phrases.
