Art Adventures Winter 2025

Art Adventures returns in 2025 at the Samek Art Museum on the campus of Bucknell University. Join us Saturday mornings as we explore major movements from Art History along with basic principles of artistic design. Attendees will get to create their own masterpieces using the techniques of each movement each week and then have the opportunity to display them in their very own gallery show. Art Adventures runs Saturday mornings from 10:00-11:30 am on January 25, February 1,8,15, and 22. This program is held in the Samek Art Museum on the campus of Bucknell University. Cost to attend is $5.00 per child, per session. There is a discount available if you register to attend all 5 sessions at one time. This program is designed for children ages 6-12 and is not a drop off program.

January 25: Texture, Impressionism and Pointillism
February 1: Shape, Fauvism and Cubism
February 8: Color, Dadaism and Abstract Art
February 15: Repetition, Pop Art and Participatory Public Art
February 22: Space, Gallery Design and Art Show

LCM Refund Policy

The LCM  reserves the right to cancel classes or programs for low enrollment, severe weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event the LCM cancels a program, participants will be notified and registration will be refunded. Camp transfers are possible on a case by case basis. Space in each session is limited. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

If a request for program transfer or withdrawal is received...

1. At least one month before the first day of the program session, you may choose to transfer to another program session, of equal or lesser value, space permitting, or receive a full refund of the program registration fee.

2. At least two weeks before the first day of the program session, you may choose to transfer to another program session, of equal or lesser value, space permitting, or receive a refund of 50% the program registration fee.

3. Less than two weeks before the first day of the program session, no transfer or refund requests will be honored.
