Nature's Explorers (3/12/22 at 2 pm-3:30 pm): Water, Water, Everywhere: Rain, Storms, and Floods

Join a group of explorers on the second Saturdays of the month (March-July from 2:00 pm-3:30 pm, unless otherwise noted) to discover the curiosity of nature at Dale’s Ridge and areas surrounding Lewisburg. Each session will introduce a new way of seeing and being in the natural world: from art to science to history! We’ll be together in safe ways outdoors, learning about the world around us and how we can help keep nature healthy. Recommended for children 4-10 years old and their families.

Program made possible by collaboration between the Lewisburg Children's Museum, Bucknell University Humanities Center, Merrill W. Linn Land & Waterways Conservancy, and the Union County Historical Society.


Please note, program located Dale’s Ridge: Dale Engle Walker House, 1471 Strawbridge Rd, Lewisburg, PA 17837. Parking is available near the Dale Engle Walker House or the creek trail. Dress appropriately, bring a water bottle, and note there are NO bathroom facilities.


Masks and physical distancing are recommended. This event is $7 per family. Space is limited.

LCM Waiver and Consent:
I, as parent/guardian, permit the Lewisburg Children’s Museum (known hereafter as LCM) to use pictures of my child(ren) as a program participant in promotional literature, videos, and the LCM website. I understand my child(ren)’s name(s) will not be published. I hereby assume all risks and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities at the LCM and other field trip locations (if applicable) and transportation to and from the activities (if applicable). My Child is fit for the program(s) in which I have enrolled him/her. I, as parent/guardian, do hereby agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the LCM, its trustees, officers, agents, and employees of and from all causes, liabilities, damages, claims, or demands whatsoever on account of any injury or accident involving the said minor arising out of my child’s participation in this program.
