Ages 5–11 (Kindergarten completion required)

Campers explore Earth science through hands-on investigations into rocks, minerals, volcanoes, and geological change.

Minerals to Magma takes campers on a journey beneath Earth’s surface to explore rocks, minerals, volcanoes, and geological processes. Campers will investigate how rocks form, what minerals are used for, and how forces like heat and pressure shape our planet. Through hands-on experiments, observations, and creative projects, kids will uncover the science behind earthquakes, magma, and mountain building. This camp is perfect for young geologists and explorers who love digging into Earth science.

I, as parent/guardian, permit the Lewisburg Children’s Museum (LCM) to use pictures of my child(ren) as a program participant in promotional materials, videos, and the LCM website. I understand my child’s name will not be published.
