Lego Design Challenge

It’s time to gather your LEGO bricks and get creative! You can build to your heart's content in the comfort of your own home and use your own LEGO supplies. This is a fun event for ALL ages (yes, adults included) and a great opportunity for team building and STEM exploration. Program is sponsored by the Larson Design Group. Register and email a picture of your creation by Sunday, April 3 by 2:00 pm to the museum (lewisburgchildrensmuseum@gmail.com) to be entered into the competition. Additional contest rules apply.

Individual builder group categories are ages 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, 13+, or team/business. Entry Fee is $5 per participant (in 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, 13+ category); $10 per team/business. Prizes will be awarded to the top winner in each individual category and voting will be done via Google Forms; the form will be made available after all submissions have been received.

Don’t have lego supplies? Sign up for a time to come to the Museum and use the supplies in our Party Room. Contact the museum at lewisburgchildrensmuseum@gmail.com. Masks are required for on site building. Winners will be announced Sunday, April 10.

Basic Rules 

1. No official LEGO sets may be used. All creations must be original work. You are allowed to use idea boards and resources to help you.

2. LEGO mini-figures are allowed. No other figures may be used.

3. Entry picture files must include the participant's first name and age category in the file title.

4. Entries must follow all the rules to qualify prizes.

5. All entries MUST be submitted by April 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm.

LCM Waiver and Consent:
I, as parent/guardian, permit the Lewisburg Children’s Museum (known hereafter as LCM) to use pictures of my child(ren) as a program participant in promotional literature, videos, and the LCM website. I understand my child(ren)’s name(s) will not be published. I hereby assume all risks and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities at the LCM and other field trip locations (if applicable) and transportation to and from the activities (if applicable). My Child is fit for the program(s) in which I have enrolled him/her. I, as parent/guardian, do hereby agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the LCM, its trustees, officers, agents, and employees of and from all causes, liabilities, damages, claims, or demands whatsoever on account of any injury or accident involving the said minor arising out of my child’s participation in this program.
