Melody Makers will include singing, playing age-appropriate instruments, movement, listening, and creative musical play with Ms Sharon. This class is recommended for children 3-5. Classes run Saturdays, February 8-March 8 (5 sessions). Registration required.
Sharon Claassen is a graduate of Western Michigan University, where she earned a degree in Music Therapy. With a strong background in music therapy, she worked in school settings, focusing on developing and implementing music therapy sessions for children with developmental disabilities. Sharon was a certified Early Intervention Specialist, further enhancing her expertise in supporting young children. She spent two years teaching infant through preschool music classes at Gymboree Play & Music, where she cultivated her passion for introducing the arts to children and fostering their early development through creative expression.
Two session times are available:
Preschool (ages 3-5): 10:00am-10:45am
Baby/Toddler (ages 0-35 months): 11:00am-11:30am
