FUN Weekend Program: Nature Photography

Registration is now open for Nature Photography program as part of the Lewisburg Children’s Museum’s Families Understanding Nature (FUN) Weekend Program. Professor Tulu Bayar, Chair of Bucknell University's Art and Art History Department, will guide children in building a pinhole camera. Then, they will focus and frame their work through the rule of thirds, pattern, color, tecture, etc. using a smartphone that they bring with them. Children will be guided on a nature walk around town to continue experimenting with photography. Recommended for children ages 6 and up. Caregivers are encouraged to participate. A smartphone is required for participation.
Program held in the LCM Courtyard and around downtown Lewisburg. Masks are required and COVID precautions will be followed. This event is $5 per child. Space is limited. Drop off is available no more than 10 minutes before the start of class.

LCM Waiver and Consent:
I, as parent/guardian, permit the Lewisburg Children’s Museum (known hereafter as LCM) to use pictures of my child(ren) as a program participant in promotional literature, videos, and the LCM website. I understand my child(ren)’s name(s) will not be published. I hereby assume all risks and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities at the LCM and other field trip locations (if applicable) and transportation to and from the activities (if applicable). My Child is fit for the program(s) in which I have enrolled him/her. I, as parent/guardian, do hereby agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the LCM, its trustees, officers, agents, and employees of and from all causes, liabilities, damages, claims, or demands whatsoever on account of any injury or accident involving the said minor arising out of my child’s participation in this program.
