Lewisburg Children's Museum offers a series of initiatives that provide free or reduced admission and programming to families in need in our surrounding communities. Through our many Count Me In initiatives and our commitment to participating in the national Museums for All program, the Museum encourages children and families of all backgrounds to develop life long museum habits.
Museums for All (EBT Card)
Show your EBT card and a valid photo ID at the registration desk to receive reduced daily admission for up to four related individuals. As part of our commitment to Museums for All, we invite EBT cardholders from any U.S. state to utilize this benefit for reduced admission of up to 4 people.
Community Partner Reduced Admission Coupon Program
The Lewisburg Children’s Museum partners with community agencies through the Susquehanna Valley to provide reduced admission coupons to families in need. Through this reduced admission program, community partner organizations are provided custom coupons for distribution, which can be redeemed at the Museum registration desk.
Community partner organizations must:
- Provide Nonprofit/501c3 status
- Serve low-income or at-risk families
- Be located in with the Susquehanna Valley Region
Cultural Pass Program
Now getting a free visit to the museum is as simple as visiting your local library. Thanks in part to a grant from the Charles and Betty Degenstein Foundation, library patrons can use their library cards to check out a free family day pass (admission for 4) to the Museum. Special Thanks to the following libraries for participating: Beavertown Community Library, Degenstein Community Library, James V. Brown Library, Middleburg Community Library, The Milton Public Library, Montgomery House Library, Mount Carmel Area Public Library, Priestley Forsyth Memorial Library, Public Library for Union County, and Rudy Gelnett Memorial Library.

Reduced Program and Class Registration
Coming soon, the LCM is also seeking funding to subsidized the cost of programming, allowing children of all economic backgrounds to participate in not only creative play, but also the many enrichment opportunities that the museum offers, such as classes and select programs. The LCM offers regularly scheduled language, Art, STEM, and music classes and camps throughout the year. These program offerings allow children to delve deeper into topics that interest them, sparking curiosity and a lifelong passion for learning.
If you believe that the powerful educational resources and experiences provided by the Lewisburg Children's Museum should be accessible to all, please donate to Count Me In today.
